Pcc-ofdm with Reduced Peak-to-average Power Ratio

چکیده

Polynomial cancellation coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (PCC-OFDM) with overlapping symbol periods is a modulation technique which overcomes many of the disadvantages of OFDM. PCCOFDM is much less sensitive to frequency offset and Doppler spread than OFDM. PCC-OFDM like OFDM has a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). In this paper it is shown that the PAPR can be reduced without increase in out-of-band power by using a new clip and filter technique. Results are presented for the new system in a two path multipath channel and for the case of frequency offsets. The PAPR can be reduced to 6dB or lower with little increase in bit error rate.
